This sunny weather is pure joy !

Since the mid-April start of the vegetative cycle, vine growth has been acting yoyo-like following the repeated ups and downs of the climate and temperatures.
Bud-bursting was explosive but slowed down in early May and has turned quite dynamic again in the last few days. Lower tempatures are being forecast, so growth should slow down again… The well-known Saints de Glace cold snap effect ?
If the saying is to be believed, the vigneron can sleep soundly again only after 11,12,13 May, with the last of the cold spell and spring frosts.
But beware, nothing is less certain, with frost still possible until 25 May (St Urbain’s Day).
To be confirmed…

Bunches are now quite visible and the plants sanitary condition is at present healthy.
No trace of cryptogamic disease (mildew, oidium) has been found in our plots.
