Start of growth taking place surely and in good conditions..

The period of vegetative dormancy is now over and 'bud burst' is in its way for most of our Chardonnays on the Côte des Blancs.
The prevailing climatic and high temperature conditions in the last few days have led to the dynamic development of our vines.

At this stage we estimate 2 to 3 days growth lateness on a ten-year average.

In the Champagne vineyard, vegetation tends to awaken with varying degrees of advancement.
Year in, year out, we may note discrepancies between grape varieties and terroirs as various factors come into play ( exposition, climate, soil nutrients, tilling, dateof pruning, etc...).
